End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is an extremely flexible equipment and is well known in the material handling business. These equipment have superior performance features which are somewhat similar to sit-down electric lift truck units.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation settings which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machinery are an ideal alternative for applications that need frequent off and on access, since their stand-up design is an excellent feature.
The reach truck is a loading machine utilized by various businesses which maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and materials that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers simple and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great alternative for people who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need for immediate use in an efficient and safe way.
All standard reach truck units would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machine. Telescoping tines are mounted to the out-rigging and could move up and down. The blades additionally include a hydraulic setup which allows the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not just offers more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Usually, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across without difficulty, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
