Articulating Booms - Bi-Energy and Electric
The Bi-Energy and Genie DC machinery produced by Terex provide emission-free and quiet operation in the most sensitive work applications. Like for example, in industrial situations where the equipment should travel significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the advantages and flexibility of a diesel powered generator using a 48 Volt DC equipment.
Several of the important characteristics provided by this combination consist of over, out and up positioning capabilities for complete flexibility. As well, the zero tail-swing provided by most units, combined with the tight turning radius provides easy maneuvering through narrow aisles and standard doors.
The proportional and drive controls provide the machine with precise boom positioning and smooth drive performance. For emission free and quiet operation suitable for sensitive settings, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models available to function with an additional working range for particular tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform that rotates to either side at an angle of 90 degrees.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie machines by Terex are ideal for both outdoor and indoor construction applications. This particular model provides engine-powered articulating Z booms which combine over, up and out positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. The outreach provided by this type is second to none in the market.
Diesel engine machines on nearly all modes have an articulating boom that provides zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These equipment are ideal in narrow or small places. Furthermore, they provide terrain and grade maneuverability, supreme power and exceptional torque. The diesel engines are quiet in general too. Nearly all models have active oscillating axle and full time drive positive drive traction system to provide great flexibility on rough and uneven surfaces.
High ground clearance is provided in 4 or 2 wheel drive models, whilst the rough terrain models are desirable for any company's fleet. The jib boom kinds are available and offer extra range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to ninety degrees on these models too.
